PRESERVATIVE INGREDIENT FOR COSMETICS
AMINAT®-CB is a COSMOS preservative that combines Ethyl Lauroyl Arginate HCl (LAE®), a sustainable and non-irritating molecule, with Benzyl Alcohol & Cinnamic Acid to reinforce its antimicrobial efficacy.
  • Ethyl Lauroyl Arginate HCl (LAE®) combines a high antimicrobial efficacy with low toxicity, non-sensitizing,
    and non-skin irritating features, and rapidly metabolizes into natural dietary components.
  • AMINAT®-CB incorporates Benzyl Alcohol, a well-known preservative and Cinnamic Acid, a multifunctional
    agent. These two ingredients reinforce the antimicrobial efficacy of LAE®, minimizing the possible
    interactions due to its cationic nature.
  • AMINAT®-CB is ECOCERT, COSMOS and Halal certified.
AMINAT®-CB is a suitable preservative blend for a wide range of personal care products.

  • Appearance: Transparent pale yellow liquid
  • pH at 20 °C (68°F) 1% solution {DI Water): 3.3 ± 1.0
  • Viscosity at 20°C (68°F) (Brookfield RV, sp 1, 50 rpm): < 150 mPa·s
  • Density at 20°C (68°F): 1.08 ± 0.02 g/cm3
  • Solubility: Dispersable in water, totally soluble in ethanol, glycerine and vegetable oils
  • pH stability: Stable and active between 3.0-7.0
AMINAT®-CG has a broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, yeasts and moulds.
